Our glasses Boutique offers a reglaze your own glasses frames service and has our optical laboratory onsite with the latest state of the art lens edging machines.
What about a "while you wait" in-store service ?
We can offer a while you wait or 1 hour service on most standard uncoated single vision lens prescriptions up to Sph 4 and Cyl 2 dioptres inclusive. Many more lenses and higher powered lenses are available in-store up to 10 Spherical dioptres including coated and bespoke tinted lenses and varifocal lenses and are made within a few days. Prices vary in-store (to online) due to wider choice and options, measurements and extra service.

Do you offer a "reglaze my glasses frames"
service online or by Post ?
If you want to buy from us online with extra discounts simply make an order online ensuring your prescription is within range (up to +/-4 Sph and +/-2 Cyl)
and send your frames for reglaze to us in the post. We'll return them to your nominated shipping address once completed.
Do you glaze old glasses frames ?
Yes we do, taking great care with your glasses frames during glazing (see terms of business). Note: We reglaze full metal/plastic and semi rimless glasses but don't offer reglazes with Rimless frames.
Do you reglaze new prescription lenses into old designer frames ?
Yes, where possible with pleasure, We'll take the necessary measurements in-store. We are experts at glazing unique plastics and cold glaze acetate materials often used in the manufacture of designer glasses frames. Alternatively send your used glasses frames to us in the post and make your order online.
Do you glaze brand new designer glasses frames ?
Yes we do. We'll take your measurements in-store and fit your new lenses into your new designer frames. Alternatively send your used glasses frames to us in the post and make your order online. Please note: We are careful not to damage your frames when reglazing them but due to the nature of reglazing glasses, occasionally accidents can happen, for which we cannot take responsibility. We offer our reglaze lenses into your own frames service at your own risk but we will be very careful with your glasses frames.
Pupil Distance (PD) and frame measurements ?
We can take your PD and centre height measurements instore before cutting and fitting your lenses into our or your own glasses frames.
This is particularly beneficial when buying Bifocal or Varifocal lenses. This only takes a few minutes. Simply call into store for a "Reglaze" with us and a technician will be available. Bring along your current prescription and we'll take care of the rest with accurate measurements taken in-store. Uncoated Standard Single Vision prescription lenses can usually be fitted to your frames while you wait with prescription powers Sph's up to 4 and Cyl's up to 2 inclusive. Stronger prescriptions or coated lenses take a few days longer.
When buying online you can enter your own PD pupil width measurement within the ordering process when making an online purchase.
What other lens types and coatings are available ?
Single Vision, Bifocal and Varifocal lenses and coatings can be supplied with photochromic, tinted, glare resistant and blue light resistant coatings. We also supply many thinned and ultra thin lenses for stronger prescriptions within a few days, reglazed into your old or brand new spectacle frames. We offer reglazes on plastic/metal and semi rimless glasses. We don't reglaze Rimless glasses.
We are careful not to damage your frames.
When reglazing your own glasses frames we'll take all due care and attention, but due to the nature of reglazing glasses and the stresses involved in the glazing process, occasionally accidents can happen, for which we cannot take responsibility.
