From Bespoke tinted prescription lenses to Varifocal lenses for everyday use, we do it all with our reglaze own glasses frames service.
At Ilkeston Factory Specs we not only sell complete beautiful affordable eyewear, we also reglaze your own frames if you would prefer. It doesn't matter if your glasses frames are old and cherished, or brand new, unbranded or designer glasses, we can reglaze all. The only frames we don't reglaze are your own rimless glasses frames due to the complexity. We do offer complete rimless glasses with frames bought from us.

Either call into store for a reglaze, or buy a reglaze from us online, sending your glasses to us in the post, we'll return them shipped directly to your home address. We are open from 10am to 2:30 pm and available for bookings after these times 7 days a week.
The legal bit
In the interests of legality, we ask you to bring along a valid purchase receipt if your glasses frames are brand new, ie:
Opticians receipt, E Bay receipt, Store receipt or online merchant receipt etc.
You'll need to bring a valid prescription for a lens quote that is no more than 2 years old.
You'll need to sign to say you won't hold us responsible for any damage or breakage of frames during the glazing process or shortly afterwards.
1 Hour Service
Some prescription lenses and prescriptions are available within a limited standard range and within an hour. Read more about this on our website.
What lenses Do We Supply
We supply Varifocals/ Bifocals and Single Vision lenses, Office Lenses and coated lenses are available within a few days. Transition, Photochromic, Glare resistant, Blue Light and Computer lenses. Bespoke tinted lenses and Thinner and Ultra Thin lenses available too. We supply Prescription lenses up to a combined Sph and Cyl of +/- 10 dioptres.
Stay Out of the Cities and Avoid Parking Charges
There is free easy parking immediately outside our Boutique entrance and free private parking to the rear of our lab premises. There is also easy wheel chair access.
Private Paid Store Appointments
Bookings available after 2:30pm and 7 days a week including Sat and Sun £6.95 online in advance.
When is There No Appointment Needed
You are welcome to call into store without an appointment on Mon/ Tue/ Thur/ Fri/ Sat/ from 10am to 2:30pm. You'll need a pre booked appointment after 2:30pm or on Sun and Weds
